MoS2 chips rival Silicon
Here is an article on making mirco-chips faster, cheaper and more readily available in terms of resources.
This is so weird - I was just thinking the other day, silicon is a retarded choice for making electronics, because, being an indirect bandgap semiconductor, it would heat up real fast, and this cuts down on the efficiency of the devices as well. I think this claim needs a bit more math to back it up, but silicon is rapidly in need of replacement by a better semiconductor.
